Frequently Asked Questions

How and when do I pay you?

Payment can be made via cash, Venmo, or CashApp (Venmo is preferred).   While payment is preferred in advance, you have up until the event date to pay in full. 

What kind of equipment do you need?

If the church/venue has a sound system, I will need:

- a microphone and 1/4" jack, both connected to the sound system

- a boom mic stand

- a sturdy music stand

If the church/venue does not have a sound system, I can provide my own for a $35 fee.  I will need a power source.

Can a friend/family member join you?

Absolutely!  This is your special day, you get to make all the decisions!  If the individual(s) will be performing along with me, I do require a rehearsal beforehand at an additional rate of $35/hour.  If the individual(s) is going to perform a song on their own, and does not require my accompaniment, no rehearsal is required and there is no extra charge.  

Will you attend the event rehearsal?

For a standard Catholic wedding/quinceañera, I do not need to attend the rehearsal.  If the ceremony is of another faith or non-denominational, I would prefer to attend the rehearsal simply to familiarize myself with the order of the service.  I will not play music at the rehearsal.  There is no additional charge.   

I'd like to play a recorded version of a song at the ceremony. Can you do that?

Sure!  We would first need to verify what kind of sound system is available to ensure there is an auxiliary connection.  Email the song to me in advance and I'll take care of the rest. 

How soon should I book you?

At least 90 days in advance is best.  Exceptions can be made based on my schedule.

Do you travel?

Of course!  My standard rate covers the local San Antonio area.  Anywhere outside of that, we can discuss to see what arrangements will be needed.  We can make anything work!
